Burkina Faso: Closer cooperation between Algiers and Ouagadougou
The President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, received the Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Selma Bakhta Mansouri, on Thursday late morning, on the occasion of the end of her mission to Burkina Faso. This meeting reaffirmed the strong ties between the two nations.
During the audience, the Algerian diplomat conveyed a message from President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to the Burkinabe Head of State. The details of the message were not disclosed, but it reflects the mutual interest of the two countries in strengthening their strategic partnership.
Madame Mansouri also reviewed the bilateral cooperation, emphasizing the importance of the historical and fraternal relations between Algeria and Burkina Faso.
