Burkina Faso – Côte d’Ivoire: Neither disinformation nor destabilization maneuvers can break the brotherhood between Burkinabe and Ivorians
For several months, unscrupulous individuals have been orchestrating a vast disinformation campaign on social media with the aim of sowing discord between the Burkinabe and Ivorian people. Through crude fabrications and unfounded accusations, these shadowy forces are desperately trying to create artificial hostility between two nations connected by history, blood, and shared values of brotherhood. However, the reality on the ground is quite the opposite; the two peoples live together harmoniously, sharing the same aspirations for peace and sovereignty.
Despite all their devious maneuvers, these enemies of African unity have failed. Neither lying propaganda nor attempts at destabilization can break the deep bonds between the Burkinabe and the Ivorians. Economic, cultural, and social exchanges between the two countries remain strong, proof that the people refuse to be manipulated by malevolent forces. Indeed, the mutual aid and solidarity that unite these peoples go far beyond the manipulations carried out in the shadows.
The thirst for sovereignty and the ideal of living together remain the true pillars of this unbreakable brotherhood. In the face of repeated attempts at division, the Burkinabe and Ivorians respond with resilience, knowing that their unity is their greatest strength. History has proven that the ties woven between these peoples are unalterable, and no scheme can shake this centuries-old brotherhood.
