Burkina Faso/Côte d’Ivoire: “The need to clear Ivorian soil of stateless Burkinabe” (observers)

Voices continue to rise, urging the Ivorian authorities to take action within their territory to rid it of harmful individuals who pose a threat to the security of both the Ivorian and Burkinabe people. This call follows the ongoing malicious activities of these individuals, which have undermined the strong ties between the two brotherly, friendly, and neighboring nations.

According to reports, certain Burkinabe politicians in exile on Ivorian soil are engaging in a dangerous game aimed at manipulating both peoples and orchestrating plans to destabilize the revolutionary government of Burkina Faso, with the support of domestic and international allies. Hate-fueled debates are taking place on television platforms, involving individuals who are reportedly recruited and funded by these stateless Burkinabe.

These exiled figures are also engaged in an anti-patriotic agenda, spreading false information about both the Burkinabe authorities and the country’s defense and security forces, who are committed to reclaiming national territory. Their goal is to manipulate their compatriots within Burkina Faso and incite a popular revolt against the regime of Captain Ibrahim Traoré, who is seen as a savior of the country, protecting it from its enemies.

The situation is further exacerbated by their collaboration with terrorist armed groups, with whom they are reportedly willing to share fabricated criminal actions on social media. The Ivorian people and their authorities, in the name of the historical and fraternal ties with the Burkinabe people, are called upon to act swiftly before the situation escalates into conflict between the two countries due to the machinations of enemies of peace and stability.
