Burkina Faso/Counter-terrorism: CSO promise fighter jet for fighting forces by the end of December
As a Christmas present to the forces fighting terrorism in Burkina Faso, some Civil Society Organizations (CSO) promise a fighter plane. The idea was put forward on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at a conference recognizing the bravery of the SDF and the VDP.
Following the overwhelming victory of the fighters against thousands of terrorists in Djibo on Sunday, November 26, 2023, members of the Coordination of Civil Society Organizations of Burkina Faso (COSC-BF) expressed their admiration for the Defence and Security Forces (SDF) and the Volunteers for the Defence of the Fatherland (VDP).

A way to facilitate the acquisition of combat equipment including the acquisition of a fighter aircraft by the end of December as a gift from Santa Claus to the army. The COSC-BF spokesman also urged the leaders of ESA member countries to strengthen regional cooperation in military and security intelligence.
