Fighting forces at work, robbing terrorist groups...

In Burkina Faso, the fighting forces continue with determination their sovereign mission of defending the territory, reclaiming the entirety of the national territory, and protecting people and property. From January 7 to 18, these fighters, deployed across the country, once again inflicted heavy losses on the terrorist armed groups that persist in their criminal actions, believing they could take advantage of a brief moment of inattention from the fighters.

This underestimates the determination, capacity, and professionalism of these worthy sons of the land of honest men. In several localities across the country, both ground and air operations were successfully carried out, resulting in victory for Burkina Faso over the terrorist hydra. According to reports from national media, several dozen terrorists were killed, war materials were seized, food supplies were recovered, terrorist bases were destroyed, and other criminals were captured.

This reflects the commitment and patriotism that now drive these Fighting forces. Supported by the authorities and their fellow citizens, and knowing that the hopes of the people rest upon them, the engaged fighters give their best and do not shy away from any obstacle, honoring the country’s motto: “Homeland or death, we shall overcome”. According to reports, their strategic positions have been further strengthened to better face the adversary.

This struggle is a civic commitment for those who aspire to security and stability, in order to enable further development actions for the country. Hence, the determination of everyone involved, from the country’s authorities, led by Captain Ibrahim Traoré, to the fighters and the civilian population.
