Burkina faso / Education : The association “AMONSOLI” comes to the aid of the children of fallen FDS on the battlefield

Many patriots, driven by love for their beloved homeland, Burkina Faso, leave their families to defend the integrity of the territory. As in all wars, there are always casualties on both sides, some among the Defense and Security Forces, unfortunately never to see their families again.

The Burkinabe State, led by President Ibrahim Traoré, in recognition of this act of patriotism, has taken all necessary measures to ensure that these fallen children of the FDS lack nothing in terms of their education.

It is in this perspective that the association « Global Action for Solidarity » took it upon itself this Monday, March 18, to assist orphaned students and students whose fathers have fallen. This involves the distribution of computers to facilitate the studies of these students who are facing precarious situations.

This project was realized with the support of the Transitional President’s office. This distribution of computers is part of a project « Together, let’s build an inclusive digital future ! », which aims to contribute to the construction of a united Burkina Faso.

The gesture of the AMONSOLI association also responds to the call of the Transitional President, Ibrahim Traoré, for a wave of solidarity and support for the efforts made by the Burkinabè state in the current context of the fight against terrorism.

According to the Director of the Transitional President’s office, Martha Céleste Anderson MEDAH, this distribution is « full of symbolism in the sense that it is the expression of active solidarity ». He invited the beneficiaries to make judicious use of these tools. « To the recipients, I would like to express all my solidarity and offer them my encouragement. I invite you to make these tools weapons against ignorance and obscurantism. You must defy knowledge and seek it out wherever it is », he emphasized.

It is worth noting that the Global Action for Solidarity association is an initiative of Burkinabè diaspora, working for the promotion of sustainable development, education, and health.
