Burkina Faso: Embalo, through ECOWAS, is confirming the existence of a pact with France

The current president of Ecowas, Umaro Sissoco Embalo, has now become involved in France’s manipulation to destabilize Burkina, for the simple reason that the land of the honest men refused to let itself  being dominated.

«The Government of Burkina Faso was very surprised by the content of a tweet on April 27, 2023, published on behalf of ECOWAS on the personal page of the President of the Conference of Heads of State, H.E. Umaro Sissoco EMBALO. The latter used the serious concept of “genocide” to describe the tragedy that occurred in the village of Karma on April, 2023. The same characterization appears in the press release issued on the same date by the ECOWAS Commission».

Following the tragedy that occurred in the village of Karma on April 20, the Guinean President, who is also the current President of ECOWAS, made a tweet in which he described the Karma incident as a “genocide.”

«On behalf of ECOWAS, I strongly and indignantly condemn the genocide taking place in Burkina Faso in the region of Karma. With my deepest sympathy, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded. Those responsible for these killings will be identified and judged by the International Criminal Court», he wrote.

The statement from the current President of ECOWAS confirms rumors that he is aligning with France to destabilize Burkina Faso in the name of the regional organization.

Instead of upholding the dignity and honor of his position, Umaro Sissoco Embalo has allowed himself to be demeaned by a large number of internet users.

For instance, Yakubu Nikiéma asserts: « On behalf of our ancestors from Yatenga, our Emperor Naba Kango (who gave the name “Ouahigouya,” which means “submit to selling,” the locality where Karma is located), I condemn the words of the imperialist local servant Umaro Embalo»

Meanwhile, Abdoul Sanou insists: « In the name of ECOWAS, you have never tweeted to condemn and ask the ICC to prosecute the terrorists who have been causing grief to the Burkinabè since 2016. We all know your plan and intentions: you do not like the victories achieved by our FDS and VDP».

Anriette Bah also writes: «My President Embalo, do you already have evidence for this qualification? Without the conclusions of an independent investigation? Wouldn’t it be better to wait a little? It would be necessary to first prove that what happened, although regrettable, was a genocide. In the affirmative which I highly doubt, why talk about the ICC? Very strange for a President of an African regional organization! »

For her part, Ornella Adjanor asserts: « Here is someone who missed an opportunity to keep quiet. There was a massacre in Chad, Mr. Embalo is deaf, blind, and mute. There were deaths in Senegal during demonstrations, likewise he says nothing. Now it’s Burkina Faso that he sees. We know where this message he published on behalf of ECOWAS comes from! »

As far as the others are concerned, the use of the concept “genocide” by Mr. Embalo is considered as an insult to the Burkinabe nation who is seriously suffering from terrorism and has been abandoned by that same ECOWAS.

For example, Ouaba Saliou questioned: « What did your association say when Macky Sall tried everything to remove SONKO? What about the Chadian dictator and the all-powerful eternal Ivorian? Shame on you, and know that the conscious African people are vigilant and waiting for you with firm feet».

All these statements prove how much Africans and Burkinabe in general are well aware of France’s and major organizations’ destabilization plans in Burkina Faso and Africa.

For the time being, in a statement, the transitional government of Burkina Faso assures: «In line with its spirit of openness and dialogue, reassures the Commission, the international community and its partners that the Authorities of the Transition remain available for any information and clarification needs on the tragedy of Karma and reiterates its firm commitment to shed light on this tragedy and any other case of serious human rights violations committed on Burkinabe territory».
