Burkina Faso : Exceptional citizen commitment, Civil Servants unite in the fight against terrorism

A new era is beginning in Burkina Faso at the start of 2024. The people have chosen to provide tangible support through noble and commendable actions to strengthen the efforts of the authorities in favor of the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland. This support aims to ensure optimal conditions in their fight against the forces of evil.

As announced, the year 2024 will be marked by an intensification of the struggle. Terrorists have no right on Burkinabe territory. Public servants, fully understanding the importance of this collective fight, have decided to play their role in this decisive context.

Faced with security challenges related to terrorism, state employees have chosen to contribute significantly by allocating 1% of their salary to support the war efforts against terrorism. This decision reflects the determination of the Burkinabe people to unite in the struggle for national security.

The decision to give 1% of their salary was made collectively by civil servants, demonstrating a deep sense of responsibility towards the nation.

These contributions will be used to strengthen security forces, support the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), aid humanitarian operations, or participate in other initiatives related to national security.

Citizens express their gratitude to civil servants, recognizing the exemplary nature of this initiative and its potential impact on the country’s security situation. This action by state employees should also inspire other sectors of society to join the national effort. The private sector is strongly encouraged to participate.

This demonstration of solidarity will offer tangible hope for a safer and more stable future in Burkina Faso.
