Burkina Faso: French DGSE warns of large-scale destabilization in December

According to gathered information, France is reportedly mobilizing all available resources to attempt yet another destabilization of the “land of the upright men” (Burkina Faso) before January 2024. The DGSE (Directorate-General for External Security) will be the spearhead of this operation, with a significantly increased budget. Several million euros, initially allocated for AFD (French Development Agency) projects for the period from January 1 to December 31, 2024, are said to be reallocated to support the DGSE in its efforts to destabilize Burkina Faso specifically, and the West African region more broadly.

This French practice is not new: if the funds designated for projects are not used by December 31, the AFD is obliged to return them to France. This has been observed in several African countries at odds with France. Analyzing the patterns of destabilization, it appears that France typically attempts three operations per year: the first wave in March-April, the second between June and September, and the last from mid-November until December 31.

In the coming weeks, Burkina Faso is expected to face numerous destabilization plans. Terrorist attacks are likely to intensify, including massacres, and an assassination attempt against President Ibrahim Traoré could be on the horizon. All these plans are said to be orchestrated by France, led by the DGSE. The countries targeted by this wave of destabilization include Burkina Faso, Mali, Togo, and Niger.

It is crucial that these nations take steps to counter this widespread conspiracy in the works. Hundreds of millions of euros are reportedly being made available to those carrying out the plans. French media, certain African activists, and representatives of the Catholic Church are allegedly to be involved. Targeted assassinations are expected to stoke public anger, a method that has already been used in other African countries.
