Burkina Faso: Higher education and research institutions have formalized the wearing of the unique dress Faso Danfani

The official ceremony of the adoption of the unique toga port in Faso Danfani was held on Tuesday, November 28 by the Higher Education and Research Institutions (IESR) of Burkina (public universities and research institutions), a ceremony also ends the wearing of the old toga in the public universities of Burkina.

Presiding over this solemn ceremony, Prime Minister Dr Apollinaire Kyélem de Tambèla, recalled the importance of consuming Burkinabè products, while highlighting the cultural character of this toga in Faso Danfani. For the Prime Minister, it is local products that are used, and that must be valued for the goods of Burkinabe artisans.

Congratulating the minister in charge of higher education, Prof Adjima Thiombiano, for having won the bet to make this port of the toga unique in Faso Danfani effective in the public universities of Burkina, the Head of Government indicates that the port of the unique toga in Faso Danfani contributes in one way or another to the national economy.

In his speech, Prof Adjima Thiombiano specified that this ceremony definitively dedicates the unique port of Faso Danfani in the academic world, at the national and international levels. Addressing the promoted, the minister informed them that the wearing of the unique toga in Faso Danfani is indeed the symbol of the affirmation of their identity and responsibility within the society, as well as their contribution and participation in the dynamics of the national economy, while adding that the official port of the unique toga in Faso Danfani of the IESR marks the sovereignty of the country in its universities.

Recall, they were more than 500 promus of the 2021-2022 session of the CAMES to receive their togas on the occasion of this solemn ceremony of wearing the unique toga in Faso Danfani of the IESR.
