Burkina Faso / An imperialist plot targeting the MPSR and President Ibrahim Traoré: The truth behind the false accusations

For some time now, a smear campaign orchestrated by imperialists and their local lackeys has aimed to tarnish the image of President Ibrahim Traoré and the MPSR, with the goal of providing evidence to launch an international arrest warrant by the ICC against them. This machination sadly recalls the scenario staged against Saddam Hussein in Iraq, where false accusations were used to justify a military intervention and regime change.

A video of a young girl, widely circulated on social media by stateless individuals, is at the heart of this destabilization strategy. This young girl, claiming to be from a neighboring country, accuses the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) of harming her parents. This video is nothing more than a crude montage intended to manipulate international public opinion and discredit the Burkinabe authorities.

This is not the first time such methods have been used. During the invasion of Iraq, a young girl was instructed to testify before the U.S. Congress, claiming to have seen Iraqi soldiers pulling babies from incubators in a hospital. Although this story was false, it served to justify the military intervention against Saddam Hussein.

Today, the same tactics are being employed to present President Ibrahim Traoré as a dictator guilty of imaginary crimes, in order to pave the way for foreign intervention and his indictment before the International Criminal Court (ICC).

It is crucial to remember that the FDS and VDP are engaged in a fierce struggle against terrorism and armed groups that threaten the stability and security of Burkina Faso. The allegations made against them in this video are merely an attempt to undermine their efforts and divide the Burkinabe people. The Burkinabe authorities, under the presidency of Captain Ibrahim Traoré, are tirelessly working to protect citizens and restore peace in the country.

Burkinabe people and friends of Burkina Faso must remain vigilant in the face of these manipulation attempts. It is imperative to support the Defense and Security Forces and the leaders in their fight for a sovereign and peaceful Burkina Faso.
