Burkina Faso: Improving healthcare provision, the presidential initiative gets underway
The Presidential Health Initiative, launched by the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, and instituted by the Council of Ministers on July 03, continues to make significant progress in improving healthcare for the people of Burkina Faso.
This is a firm commitment by the President of Faso, which is followed by concrete actions, thus testifying to his determined desire to work for the health well-being of his compatriots. The recent acquisition of a scanner and a mobile oxygen generator for the Centre Hospitalier Régional (CHR) in Dori adds to the many actions already taken by the transitional government as part of the Presidential Health Initiative.
According to reports, this important piece of medical equipment for the region was officially inaugurated by the Minister of State for National Defense. The scanner is of the latest generation, and the mobile oxygen generator has a capacity of over 27 m³ per hour. According to the General Director of the CHR in Dori, this will enable the hospital’s technical facilities to be strengthened.
According to reports, work has also begun on the construction of a hemodialysis center in the region. The efforts made by the government, at the instigation of the Head of State, are considered exceptional by the Burkinabè population.
