Burkina Faso/Industrialization: President TRAORE’s vision presented to Chinese-Burkinabe businessmen
The President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, held discussions with Chinese businesspeople present in Ouagadougou, as well as with Burkinabe entrepreneurs. According to official reports, this meeting took place within the framework of the Sino-Burkinabe Business Forum, organized in the capital of Burkina Faso, to explore the business opportunities the country offers and, consequently, strengthen the economic cooperation between the two nations.
For Captain TRAORE , it is more crucial than ever for Burkina Faso to enhance its industrial sector to ensure its full development. Businesspeople are thus called upon to play an important role in this vision, contributing to the country’s effective development. As emphasized by the head of the business delegation, Burkina Faso has abundant resources and ambitious entrepreneurs.
It is up to the people of Burkina Faso to use these resources wisely, for the benefit of the country and its partners. Businesspeople represent a key element for Burkina Faso in realizing this vision of industrialization. The availability of resources in the country should inspire the establishment or creation of various factories to enable local transformation of these resources.
Necessary initiatives have already been undertaken by the country’s authorities to facilitate the creation of industries and the local processing of products. It is within this perspective of promoting industrialization that the President and his government are intensifying efforts to encourage sufficient production and local transformation. The involvement of both Burkinabe and partner country businesspeople will contribute to making Burkina Faso an industrialized, developed, and prosperous nation.
