Burkina Faso: Is ECOWAS now serving France’s interests?

Given the actions of the current president of ECOWAS, President Umaru Sissoko EMBALO, whose positions place ECOWAS under the instructions of France, according to several information gathered from various sources, all indicate that the presidency of ECOWAS works to protect the Fulani engaged in terrorism in Burkina Faso.

This is not surprising since the current president of ECOWAS is from the Fulani community. These actions make ECOWAS a community institution.

Indeed, according to sources close to the presidency of Guinea Bissau, several reports from France and some organizations funded by France are transmitted to President EMBALO.

Reports are fabricated to incite the ECOWAS president to take action in order to defend the Fulani community in Burkina Faso.

It is important to remember that some young people from this community are heavily involved in terrorism.

Unfortunately for President Embalo, who is from this community, they constitute 98% of the terrorists operating in Burkina Faso since 2016, causing several thousand deaths.

By portraying the Fulani community as victims based on false evidence from France, has the current President of ECOWAS not transformed the institution into a community serving France?

The truth may be difficult to accept, but it must be spoken out to expose conspiracies and prevent further loss of life.

The populations of ECOWAS member countries should mobilize to demand the end of President Embalo’s presidency of the institution, as it has become dangerous for the sub-region.
