Burkina Faso: Mahamadou Bonkoungou, CEO of EBOMAF, once again attacked for his patriotism
In Burkina Faso, the naysayers continue with their lies and defamatory inventions against honorable patriots who are vigorously engaged in the fight against terrorism and the reclamation of the entire national territory.
Some Burkinabè, driven by their pursuit of personal gain, don’t hesitate to submit to manipulators in order to vilify their fellow compatriots simply for their association with the transitional authorities. As a result, due to his close ties with the transition government, Mahamadou Bonkoungou, CEO of EBOMAF, is once again the target of calumnies concocted by manipulators who seek to undermine the anti-terrorist war.
Mr. Mahamadou Bonkoungou needs no introduction, and his sense of patriotism is beyond doubt. Despite being at the helm of a multinational company, this entrepreneur carries his country in his heart and is ready to support any action that can restore peace and stability to Burkina Faso.
Recognizing the determination of the current authorities to combat violent extremism, he deemed it necessary to offer them unwavering support, fully aware that the challenge of insecurity is a problem that concerns all Burkinabè.
It is this close relationship between the construction magnate and the current authorities that unreasonably fuels the anger of some Burkinabè who, driven by shadowy figures lurking in the background, spread unfounded criticism and false information about him.
After futile attempts by idlers posing as activists to discredit the entrepreneur, now the press is being solicited to push their agenda.
Thus, journalists driven by the desire for easy gains shamelessly display their lack of vision and love for their country by unleashing attacks on the businessman.
They are not convinced of what they themselves disseminate, but are compelled to do so due to being bribed.
These “journalists” engage in propaganda to manipulate public opinion. The goal is clear: to discourage these honorable individuals who support the fight against terrorism.
But their efforts are in vain. Mr. Mahamadou Bonkoungou is a seasoned individual, and his sense of patriotism remains strong in the face of these crude manipulation tactics and attempts at dissuasion.
Furthermore, pan-Africanist analysts urge the CEO of EBOMAF and the transitional authorities to disregard these calumnies and continue the fight hand in hand.
As for the authors of these falsehoods, observers remind them that defamation is a crime punishable by law. They call on the authorities to take action so that the perpetrators and accomplices of this disinformation are held accountable for their actions
