Burkina Faso: Meeting between President Ibrahim Traoré and members of the steering committee of the CRD

On Monday, the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, granted an audience to the members of the Steering Committee of the Regulatory Commission for Dysfunction Oversight (CRD). The meeting, held late in the morning, marks a new step in Burkina Faso’s commitment to good governance and the fight against corruption.

According to the spokesperson for the delegation, Ragnang-newindé Isidore Tiemtore, Special Advisor to the President of Faso on governance issues, this audience follows the official installation of the Steering Committee members, which took place on October 26.

The purpose of the meeting was to reaffirm the highest state authorities’ support for the CRD’s mission and to define strategic priorities aimed at strengthening integrity within institutions.

The recently established Regulatory Commission for Dysfunction Oversight plays a key role in monitoring and correcting practices contrary to good governance. Its goal is to ensure transparency in public management while actively combating abuses and unlawful behavior that could harm the public interest.

By receiving the members of the Steering Committee, President Ibrahim Traoré reaffirmed his commitment to promoting an exemplary state, where governance is based on justice, ethics, and effectiveness.
