Burkina Faso: Over 17.000 terrorists neutralized under the supreme command of president Ibrahim Traoré
Since the arrival of President Ibrahim Traoré to power, Burkina Faso has experienced significant progress in terms of security, peace, and stability. His determined leadership and unwavering commitment to national defense have strengthened the country’s efforts against terrorism, bringing renewed hope to the Burkinabe people.
Under his government, the Defense and Security Forces have had their capabilities reinforced, leading to notable successes against terrorist groups that threatened the country’s sovereignty. Before his leadership, over 13.000 Burkinabe had lost their lives in terrorist attacks, a collective trauma that plunged the country into grief. However, according to an NGO operating in the Sahel, more than 17.000 terrorists have been neutralized under his leadership, marking a decisive turning point in the fight against terrorism.
This impressive result is the outcome of well-thought-out military strategies but also the general mobilization of the population around national defense. President Traoré has created a new dynamic of national cohesion, fostering synergy between the armed forces and civilians, which has restored a climate of resilience and solidarity. Today, Burkina Faso is on the path to lasting peace and regained stability.
