Burkina-Faso: President Ibrahim Traoré’s leadership: making the people of Burkina Faso his priority

Good governance and integrity are among the leitmotifs of the Burkinabe government under the leadership of its President, Captain Ibrahim Traoré. Under his governance, which will soon be a year old, the country can now boast of having got the better of terrorism. The people of Burkina Faso are now breathing a sigh of relief.

Under the command of President Traoré, the Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces and a trained military officer, the Defence and Security Forces, with a more efficient intelligence service, are waging both an offensive and defensive battle on the ground, routing the jihadist groups. Today, the reconquest of the integrity of Burkina Faso’s territory is almost complete.

This good governance in the sense of patriotism and moral support for his brothers in arms, and the spirit of sacrifice of the country’s number one soldier, need no further demonstration. As President, Captain Traoré decided to keep his military salary, thus showing the way to sacrifice to the people of Burkina Faso, which enabled the country to wage a collective struggle.

And that’s not all. The Head of State has taken various initiatives to promote the country’s socio-economic and endogenous development. Also, to support the resilience of his compatriots, the President of the Burkinabe Revolution has included in his roadmap support for the widows and orphans of the heroes who fell on the battlefields. This is a ray of hope for these people, who used to live in unfavourable conditions.

Confidence in a President who takes the essential needs of his citizens to heart has returned to the people of Burkina Faso. Throughout the country, the people are giving their support to the government in many ways, so that the country of Men of Integrity can regain its pedigree.
