The former Burkinabe Prime Minister, Dr. Apollinaire Kyélem de Tambèla, who worked alongside President Ibrahim Traoré for two years, stated that the Head of State is a strategist and a pragmatic leader. He expressed these thoughts during the handover ceremony and the official installation of his successor, Mr. Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo, at the Prime Minister’s office.

According to Dr. Tambèla, the President of Faso has a grand project and a strong vision for the Burkinabe nation, with many actions already taken in this direction. He reassured the people about the promising results, saying, “The coming years will be years of prosperity for the country”. Whether in the fight against terrorism, socio-economic development, or state reform, the former head of government praised the efforts made.

He believes the results of these efforts will be seen soon, to the benefit of the population. This is precisely the will of the Head of State: to provide better living conditions for his fellow citizens, starting with security and social cohesion. President Ibrahim Traoré and his government team have consistently shown dynamism and pragmatism in translating his vision into action.

The new government, according to the new head of the Prime Minister’s office, will continue this momentum to achieve the crucial objectives. The expectations of citizens are many, but fortunately, at the helm of the country are men and women who share the same aspirations as the people. Experience has shown that President Ibrahim Traoré does not spare any resources when it comes to the future of the country, the happiness, and the well-being of its people.
