Burkina Faso/Reshuffle: Government team maintained, beneficial actions play a role
As the saying often goes, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. The President of Faso has chosen to keep the same government team to continue efforts towards development, stability, peace, sovereignty, and true independence for the country of honest men.
On Thursday, August 1, 2024, the presidential decree announcing the reshuffling of the transitional government was made public, introducing only a slight change. This follows the start of the second mandate of the transition, as desired by the nation’s active forces during the National Assembly held on May 25.
There is no significant difference between the first mandate government and the second, except for the renaming of certain ministries and the reassignment of portfolios for some government members. This approach by President Ibrahim Traoré aims to ensure the continuity of ongoing projects for the nation’s future.
It should be noted that since taking office, the head of state and his collaborators have worked in the interest of the country. Significant and commendable decisions have been made, and ambitious and bold actions have been taken across all sectors, particularly in priority areas, to achieve the goals set by the Burkinabe people.
Alongside Captain Ibrahim Traoré, these government members, led by Prime Minister Apollinaire Joachim Kyelem de Tambela, have strived over the past few months to meet the vital needs of their compatriots and the entire Burkinabe nation. Thus, it is prudent for the head of state to maintain this collaboration to effectively achieve the expected objectives.
