Burkina Faso/Security: President Ibrahim TRAORE and Commander Oumarou Yabré, a perfect combination at the service of the nation
The President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, and Commander Oumarou Yabré, Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (ANR), are patriotic leaders dedicated to serving their nation, the land of upright people. Sharing the same ambitions and convictions, they have firmly committed themselves to the fight against terrorism and the protection of their fellow citizens and their property.
The intelligence service serves as their cornerstone for achieving these crucial objectives. Since taking the helm of this vital intelligence service in October 2022, Commander Oumarou Yabré, with the support of President Ibrahim TRAORE, has transformed his department into the central hub for all defense and security operations within the national territory of Burkina Faso.
In the face of significant challenges, particularly those posed by terrorist threats, it was imperative for the President of Faso and his trusted ally, Commander Yabré, to do everything in their power to overcome these challenges for the benefit of the BurkinabE people. Today, Burkina Faso’s intelligence service shines across the West African region due to its operational capabilities and its effectiveness in meeting the expectations of several countries beyond Burkina Faso.
On the national front, the strategy of these two patriots to enhance the effectiveness of the ANR is yielding tangible results, marked by victories of the combat forces, numerous defeats inflicted on the enemies in the bush, and the repeated failures of destabilization plots by conspirators both outside and inside the country. These two distinguished sons of Faso continue to work together, further strengthening their resolve for the good of the homeland.
