Burkina Faso : Some new decisions from the council of Ministers of the transition
Under the presidency of Captain Ibrahim Traoré, President of the Transition and Head of State, the council of Ministers in Burkina Faso examined and adopted several issues during its meeting held this Wednesday.
The Minister of State, Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism, Government Spokesperson, Jean Emmanuel OUEDRAOGO, emphasized the importance of the decisions made for the smooth running of the Transition.
Under the Presidency of Faso, the Council first adopted a draft decree establishing the National Land Coordination Authority (ANCF), its attributions, organization, and functioning.
This authority, attached to the Presidency of Faso, will be tasked with coordinating and accelerating the digitization processes of land management. The Minister of State highlighted that this step was crucial to ensure greater transparency in the land sector and facilitate the management of land liabilities.
The second decree adopted concerns the conditions and modalities for reporting acts of corruption, related offenses, and malpractices in public administrations, as well as the rewards associated with them. This decree materializes the stated will of the Head of State to actively combat malpractices and corruption within the public administration.
These decisions of the Council of Ministers of the Transition demonstrate the government’s commitment to promoting transparency, good governance, and combating corruption. They represent important steps in implementing reforms for a more efficient functioning of the public administration in Burkina Faso.
