Burkina Faso/Sovereignty: Will President Ibrahim TRAORE and his associates be closely watched by their critics?

The President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, and his collaborators remain in the crosshairs of the country’s detractors. Committed to freeing the nation of the Land of Upright Men from the grip of terrorist groups that bring grief to families, and from the imperialists and neo-colonialists who have plundered and devastated the country for decades, Burkinabé patriots have made eternal enemies.

These enemies watch their every move, ready to counteract their efforts at every turn, instead of encouraging a united fight. Any decisions or actions taken by Burkinabé authorities in favor of sovereignty, independence, and good governance are always portrayed as wrong or ineffective by these foes, who wish to see the country remain under security threats.

French media, in collusion with local collaborators, are doing everything possible to manipulate minds and turn the peace-loving people against their leaders, whose only goal is to save and protect the country’s long-abused interests from benefiting a few individuals and foreigners. Actions contrary to this struggle have but one objective: to bring down the revolutionary regime in Faso, just as they aim to do in other AES countries.

As President Traoré clearly stated in one of his media appearances, propagandist media use a portion of the truth to create and amplify situations to deceive the public and sow doubt. RFI’s latest biased publication on the requisitioning of citizens for the fight against terrorism speaks volumes about its malicious intentions against Faso’s authorities.

Therefore, according to observers, the people’s response to each distorted, false, or defamatory publication must be decisive in thwarting any attempts at division and manipulation.
