Burkina-Faso: Tehran in the dynamic of a humanitarian action for the benefit of Ouagadougou

The excellent cooperation ties between Ouagadougou and Tehran are becoming more concrete. Under the Joint Commission for Cooperation between the two States, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Health received four containers of pharmaceutical and food products; a donation from the Islamic Republic of Iran.

This donation, which comes after the first session of the Joint Cooperation Commission between Burkina Faso and the Islamic Republic of Iran, is driving a new dynamic at the Ouagadougou-Tehran axis. Indeed, at the end of this first session held in the Burkinabe capital, the two parties reached agreements including, one in humanitarian and one in health.

These containers filled with pharmaceutical and food products are the direct consequence of these two agreements and the commitment of both countries to translate into acts, the Ouagadougou resolutions.

In addition, this expeditious implementation of the agreements for the benefit of the respective peoples, desired by both countries, relieves the suffering of internally displaced people across the country. The other areas covered by the agreements should also be taken into account quickly.
