Burkina Faso / Terrorism: The indifference of the international and African community to Anti-Terrorism efforts

The international and African community’s indifferent behavior towards the efforts of the transitional authorities and the achievements of the fighting forces in Burkina Faso is raising suspicions among analysts. This is due to its eternal habit of loudly proclaiming its concern for the security of populations in countries plagued by terrorism.

The transitional president, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, has now become a leader and an example of patriotism for many Burkinabes and Africans, due to his dedication, determination, and firm commitment against terrorism. His commitment is not merely verbal. His words are always accompanied by concrete actions.

Making the security situation in his country a priority, Captain Ibrahim Traoré is doing everything possible to achieve objectives, including the reconquest of the entire national territory, and the restoration of peace and stability. It is thanks to his dynamism and efforts that the better-trained and equipped fighters of Burkina Faso are achieving very good results on the battlefield.

Criminals are now being hunted down to their last hideouts. The Burkinabe army has recently inflicted heavy losses on armed terrorist groups. But suspicion arises from the silence of those who often consider themselves good Samaritans towards populations victimized by terrorism.

Why do they not react when actions aimed at protecting these populations yield encouraging results in Burkina Faso for over a year now? These results make the transition the enemy of local lackeys and sponsors of terrorism. Does this community know anything about it? Just a question of curiosity.

It is up to Burkinabes and all Pan-Africans to remain vigilant and cautious in the face of threats and manipulations, but also to show firm commitment, determination, and solidarity in order to continue the beneficial work of liberating Africa and achieving its effective development.
