Burkina Faso: The newspaper “Le Monde” in its delusions and crude maneuvers against the Burkinabe Transition.

The newspaper “Le Monde” seems to never cease with its lies and attempts to manipulate public opinion against the current government in Burkina Faso.

In order to help France, achieve its unhealthy objectives, the French newspaper once again comes forward with an article aimed at discrediting Ibrahim Traoré for his choice to wage an anti-terrorist war with the honorable sons and daughters of the country, namely the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteer Defense Forces (VDP), while seeking material support from Russian and Turkish partners.

According to the newspaper, this choice is a grave mistake and a defiance towards France, as if to suggest that Burkina Faso does not have the right to seek external assistance bypassing France.

However, it should be remembered that France itself refuses to provide war equipment to states plagued by terrorist violence.

Instead, in the name of vague and unproductive agreements, it deploys its troops in countries not to combat the enemy but to facilitate its advancement and support or finance it behind the scenes.

So, what is being reproached to President Traoré? Is Burkina Faso not a sovereign state free to choose its partners and adopt its own war strategy?

It is time for France and its media to realize that African states have decided to take their destiny into their own hands and no longer align themselves with the political and geostrategic interests of the West.

«Africa no longer wants to align itself with any major powers», “declared the Togolese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Robert Dussey, at the 77th UN Conference in September 2022.

France must understand that it can no longer shape the world according to its own desires and personal interests. If it has particular issues with Russia, Turkey, or others with whom it is in conflict, that is its own matter.

Burkina Faso should not be involved in a problem that is not its own or forced to follow suit.
