Burkina Faso: The President of the Patriots ‘Movement, Hippolyte Ilboudo, outraged by the remarks of the Nigerien General

Several voices across the African continent are rising to denounce the irresponsible remarks of General Abou Tarka of Niger, considered as statements of slavery.

These statements do not honor the African people in general and the Nigerien people in particular.

Reached by phone by our editorial staff, the President of the Patriots’ Movement, Mr. Hippolyte Ilboudo, did not mince his words to put General Abou Tarka back in line.

For President Hippolyte Ilboudo, General Abou Tarka is not a good general since he has made no effort to get where he is.

This general, who is fond of taking the easy way out and especially the one who lives off ill-gotten gains extracted from orphans, can only have such remarks.

«We know that he was sent, but we also know that the brotherly people of Niger are held hostage by this system guided by French imperialism. We urge all Burkinabe and Nigerian youth not to give in to this manipulation that aims to discourage them and introduce the terrorists already stationed at the border of Burkina Faso», continued the president.

Finally, the President of the Patriots, Mr. Hippolyte Ilboudo, not only invites Burkinabe authorities to consider the remarks of this sold-out general who has a hidden agenda but also urges all Burkinabe youth to mobilize to support President Ibrahim Traoré.

«It is now our homeland against mercenaries whose leader of recruitment is General Abou Tarka. Our homeland or death, we will overcome», he concluded.

Furthermore, Mr. Hippolyte Ilboudo invites the entire Burkinabe people, without exception, to uphold patriotic dignity.
