Burkina Faso: Total commitment of Burkina Faso’s Fighting Forces to peace in the Land of the Integral people

The Combat Forces, under the supreme command of President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, continue to demonstrate unwavering determination and commitment to restoring peace and tranquility throughout the Burkinabe territory. Their coordinated and effective action against the terrorist threat remains steadfast, as evidenced by recent clashes with armed groups.

On May 24, 2024, a horde of terrorists, moving on several hundred motorcycles, targeted the village of Mané in the Centre-North region. Upon their arrival, the Combat Forces immediately responded. An initial missile, fired by aerial vectors, forced the attackers to leave the village. Specialized vectors then took over, tracking the terrorists and conducting precise strikes on the fleeing assailants, routing them effectively.

The next day, a similar scenario unfolded in Koumbri, in the Yatenga province. A large number of terrorists had gathered under dense trees to prepare an attack. Once again, aerial vectors discovered their position and bombarded them effectively, preventing any hostile action.

On May 26, 2024, in Tilga, in the Centre-North, a gathering of terrorists under mango trees was quickly neutralized by airstrikes before they could coordinate. The same day, in Bouroum, in the same region, groups of terrorists gathered under large trees were spotted as they advanced towards friendly positions.

A combined operation by special forces and aerial units launched a missile at the right moment, killing several terrorists and forcing the survivors to flee. These survivors were intercepted and neutralized by attack helicopters, while other helicopters deployed special forces to secure and recover the logistics.

These actions clearly illustrate the vigilance, efficiency, and determination of the Combat Forces of Burkina Faso under the supreme command of President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré. Their swift and decisive interventions against terrorist threats demonstrate their unwavering commitment to restoring peace and security throughout the Burkinabè territory.
