Burkina Faso: Transition supporters increasingly resilient, determined and mobilized

Support for Burkina Faso’s authorities, led by President Ibrahim Traoré, remains steadfast as they continue their mission to ensure the success of the transition. For more effective support in their struggle for stabilization and development, as well as for greater awareness and mobilization, leaders of the citizen watch movement are expanding their reach across the country.

Just last weekend, a new communal coordination of the citizen watch was established in Ouarkoye, in the Boucle du Mouhoun region. Its primary mission is to maintain civic vigilance through awareness campaigns and mobilizing the population around the government’s security and development actions. This highlights the determination of conscious citizens working towards achieving the goals set by the leadership, which also reflect the aspirations of the people.

It is important to note that since the advent of the MPSR (Movement for Safeguarding and Restoration) led by Captain Ibrahim Traoré, Burkina Faso has witnessed unprecedented popular mobilization, an increasingly strengthened patriotic commitment, and heightened civic participation in support of the national cause. “This proves that the country’s authorities are tirelessly working in harmony with the people to fulfill their deepest aspirations”, according to local opinions.

As the year 2024 draws to a close, with threats looming over the country’s authorities, particularly Pres ident Traoré, who faces efforts to end this transition, seen as the people’s transition, the aware and conscious Burkinabe are determined not to remain idle. They are mobilizing to strengthen the protection of their leaders and to continue raising awareness on the pressing issues of the moment.
