«This action made it possible to neutralize more than twenty terrorists, to capture some and to destroy their places of refuge», specifies the note signed by the Chief of Staff General of the Armies, who «congratulates the mixed unit for this victorious offensive, encourages all the forces committed to continue with selfless their mission of reconquest of the national territory».
The information that makes believe that the VDP are the perpetrators of massacres of the population or any other abuses are only a lie, aimed at discrediting these brave auxiliaries and the fighting forces in general, to finally manipulate the Burkinabe people.
