Burkina Faso: Visit of friendship and work of Malian President Assimi GOÏTA
On Tuesday, June 25th, the President of the Republic of Mali, Colonel Assimi GOÏTA, will embark on a friendly and working visit to Ouagadougou. This visit marks President GOÏTA’s first official meeting in Burkina Faso, underscoring the importance of bilateral relations between the two nations.
During his stay, President Assimi GOÏTA and President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, will revisit the strong cooperation between Mali and Burkina Faso. The two heads of state will discuss various common interests, with a particular emphasis on shared challenges.
One of the main agenda items will be counterterrorism efforts. Both nations, facing similar terrorist threats, will discuss strategies and coordinated actions to enhance security in the region.
