Cameroon/ Fecafoot: Parfait Siki is now a free man
The former secretary general of Fécafoot (the Cameroonian Football Federation, Parfait Siki, has been released on bail this Thursday, April, 28, 2023 after six months in detention.
The judge approved the journalist’s request for provisional release. He was imprisoned in November 2022 following a complaint from Samuel Eto’o.
Former director of the communication department of Fécafoot, under thepresidency of Seidou Mbombo Njoya, Parfait Siki is prosecuted by the body he served for 4 years.
The body headed by Samuel Eto’o accused him of “illegal possession of administrative documents of Fécafoot with “the intention of falsifying them”. But he denies the facts.
