CAN: Côte d’Ivoire promises a rich opening ceremony
The 34th Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) CAN begins this Saturday, January 13 with an opening ceremony rich in color and sound.
Scheduled at the Ebimpé Alassane Ouattara stadium, the ceremony will last 23 minutes, including 5 minutes dedicated to performances by artists.
It will begin at 18:25 minutes. Will follow from 20 hours, the first match of the competition between Côte d’Ivoire and Guinea-Bissau.
For the musical performance, African music stars such as Magic System, Yemi Alade, and Mohamed Ramadan will perform the official anthem of the competition, entitled «Akwaba». This official CAN song celebrates Ivorian hospitality.
Other renowned artists such as Dadju and Tayc will also attend the opening ceremony.
