Champions League/Real Madrid – AC Milan (1-3)Crisis at the White House

Real Madrid was defeated at home by AC Milan on Tuesday, November 5th, in the fourth matchday of the Champions League group stage. Meanwhile, Manchester City suffered a heavy loss on the pitch of Sporting Portugal (4-1). Here are all the results from the evening.

Real Madrid, which had been unbeaten at home in the Champions League since April 2022, was logically defeated 3-1 by AC Milan, marking their second consecutive home loss after the heavy defeat to Barcelona in the Clasico.

The goals for the Rossoneri, who have now tied with Real in the standings (6 points) and reignited their hopes of qualification, were scored by Malick Thiaw (12′), former Real player Álvaro Morata (39′), and Dutchman Tijani Reijnders (73′). Vinícius had equalized to make it 1-1 with a Panenka penalty (23′).

At the Santiago Bernabéu, the reigning European champions suffered their second loss in four Champions League matches, and Carlo Ancelotti still seems unable to find the key to building a true team since the arrival of Kylian Mbappé, who again failed to score.
