Congo Brazzaville: Denis Sassou N’Guesso in Russia to strengthen bilateral relations
The President of the Republic of Congo, Denis Sassou N’Guesso, is making a state visit to Russia at the invitation of his counterpart, Vladimir Putin. President Denis Sassou N’Guesso’s visit follows shortly after that of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to Congo on June 3 and 4. Lavrov was received in Oyo by the Congolese head of state, underscoring the importance of the relations between the two countries and setting the stage for the current meeting in Moscow.
