Côte d’Ivoire: Presumed complicity in the destabilization of Burkina Faso?

In response to the defamation campaigns orchestrated from Côte d’Ivoire against Burkina Faso, the honorable sons of Faso have decided to take a firm stand to denounce these malicious maneuvers. Among them, the patriot Ibrahima Maïga, known for his straightforwardness and commitment to defending his country, has been particularly vocal in exposing the plots aimed at destabilizing Burkina Faso.

His recent statements, filled with truth and patriotism, seem to have unsettled former Burkinabé opponents in exile in Côte d’Ivoire. Using fake social media accounts, these individuals have been multiplying their attempts to fuel division and sow discord within Burkina Faso.

A large-scale smear campaign is now being orchestrated against Mr. Ibrahima Maïga, backed by powerful external forces, with the visible hand of France and its local proxies playing a central role.

This hostile climate raises a legitimate question: Are the Ivorian authorities, under the presidency of Alassane Ouattara, complicit in these actions by tacitly collaborating with exiled Burkinabé in their destabilization efforts? The persistent silence of Ivorian authorities in the face of these troubling actions is fueling doubts within the African community.

Voices are now rising to call for clear and decisive action. Pan-African leaders and observers are urging Ivorian authorities to take firm measures against these manipulations and to ensure that their territory does not become a platform for campaigns of division and hatred.

Today’s Africa no longer needs divisions but rather solidarity and unity to face common challenges. In these critical times, harmony between African nations remains a crucial pillar in resisting external forces and building a more stable and prosperous future for the continent.
