DRC: Presidential election: Candidate Félix Tshisekedi’s vision of society focuses on the well-being of the Congolese people

Candidate No. 20 in the presidential election on December 20th, Félix Tshisekedi continues to connect with his supporters across the country. Wherever he goes, crowds eagerly gather to listen to his speech on the ongoing work of rebuilding the country.

Whether in Kongo Central or in Kindu, Maniema province, Félix Tshisekedi is welcomed like a ‘savior.’ His address to the crowds focuses on social issues, security, the well-being of Congolese citizens, development, leaving no sector overlooked.

His societal project for Congo is centered around six (6) major commitments, constituting his action plan for 2024-2028. These six commitments are outlined as follows: more jobs for Congolese in the coming years (6.4 million new jobs), increased security for all, greater purchasing power, improved access to basic public services, a more diversified and competitive economy, and more efficient public services.

Equal access to healthcare services, continuation of the policy of free basic education, infrastructure construction (rehabilitation of the Kinshasa-Matadi railway), revival of sports in Matadi and Boma, revitalization of the national cement plant in Kimpese (CINAT), among others, are some of the promises made by candidate No. 20, Félix Tshisekedi.

Addressing jubilant Congolese citizens, Tshisekedi pledged before GOD and the people to honor his promises and meet the deep aspirations of the sons and daughters of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
