Foot/ Bayern Munich: The future of Sadio Mané in the German Club is becoming certain

After a mixed first season with Bayern Munich, Sadio Mané wants to come back stronger and aims to establish himself in the German club.

Mané wants to stay at Bayern

Last summer, Sadio Mané decided to join Bayern Munich after several seasons with Liverpool. The Senegalese forward, who was signed by the German club for €41 million, hasn’t really managed to establish himself in Bavaria and is determined to turn things around next season.

Despite a challenging first season, the former Liverpool player wants to stay at Bayern.

That’s at least what he indicated in a post on social media after the team’s triumph on Saturday night. He stated, “It’s time to rest and come back stronger.”

The club will make a decision

Scoring 14 goals in 42 matches, Sadio Mané is far from his usual standards. He hasn’t truly become a key player in the Bavarian squad, as he has often found himself on the bench, whether under the management of Julian Nagelsmann or Thomas Tuchel.

The Senegalese player also made headlines for a heated altercation with his teammate Leroy Sané. To recap, Mané struck the German player in the face, resulting in a suspension by the club for one match.

These minor incidents are unlikely to have an impact on Sadio Mané’s future, as he is expected to stay next summer.

The club still counts on him, and Thomas Tuchel particularly appreciates the qualities of the forward.

A final decision will be made during the next council meeting, but as a warning, Mané will need to do much better. Otherwise, there’s no doubt that the club will be more motivated to sell him at the end of the following season.
