Foot/Mercato : Aubameyang will join Olympique de Marseille next season

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set to move to France next season. The Gabonese has reached an agreement with Olympique de Marseille. The Chelsea player is set to sign a two-year deal with the Phocéens.

All that remains now is for Marseille to reach an agreement with Chelsea. The Londoners, who are not counting on the striker, should facilitate negotiations.

For Aubameyang, it will be a return to Ligue 1 ten years after leaving it in the colours of Monaco, Lille and Saint-Etienne.

A £12m signing from Barcelona last summer, Aubameyang managed 21 appearances for the Blues in his first season at Stamford Bridge but saw himself frozen out of the squad by both Graham Potter and Frank Lampard.
