Football: Sadio Mané is happy to team up with Christiano Ronaldo in Al-Nassr
The Saudi football championship is about to start this weekend. Former Liverpool striker Sadio Mane joined Al-Nassr this summer after a season in the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich. He will be teaming up with his former rival from Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Mane joked about how Firmino and Fabinho both encouraged him to join their new clubs, but he chose Al Nassr since he had been in contact with them from the beginning.
The prospect of an offensive partnership with Ronaldo also played a significant role in Mane’s decision, and he admits to being impressed” by the Saudi players during his training sessions with the Al-Nassr team.
His goal is to help make this league one of the best, given their ambitious project and efforts to bring in top players.
The Roshn Saudi League will begin in Jeddah on August 11, with Al-Ahli facing Al-Hazm at the Abdullah Al-Faisal stadium.
