Ligue 1: PSG overpowers OM 3-1 in crucial classique win
Paris Saint-Germain triumphed 3-1 over Olympique de Marseille in a decisive Classique on the 26th matchday of Ligue 1, taking another step toward a potential new league title. In the second half, Marseille briefly threatened with a goal from Amine Gouiri following a defensive error by Mendes (2-1, 52′). However, PSG restored their advantage with an own goal by Pol Lirola in the 76th minute, after a cross from Achraf Hakimi (3-1). Despite late opportunities for PSG to extend their lead, the match ended with the score unchanged.
This important victory for PSG brings them closer to their 13th Ligue 1 title, while OM remains second but faces increasing pressure from Monaco, Nice, and Lyon in the race for second place.
