Mali: President Assimi Goïta embodies a commitment to social inclusion and well-being for all
On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Army General Assimi GOÏTA, President of the Transition in Mali, once again demonstrated his commitment to the well-being of all social groups. During a ceremony held on December 3, 2024, at the headquarters of the Association of Persons of Short Stature in Bolibana, Bamako, around one hundred members of this community received valuable donations. These gestures included 100 food kits and 10 motorcycles, aimed at improving their living conditions.
The event, attended by the Special Adviser to the Head of State for Social Affairs, Mr. Aguibou DEMBELE, and other officials, represents a concrete step toward promoting social inclusion. Mrs. Kadi BARRY, president of the beneficiary association, expressed deep gratitude toward President Assimi Goïta, while also making requests such as the establishment of a national day dedicated to persons of short stature.
Through this initiative and the announcement of further donations in other areas, Army General President Assimi GOÏTA is demonstrating governance focused on collective well-being and attention to the specific needs of vulnerable groups. This gesture is part of an inclusive vision where every Malian, regardless of their condition, can receive support to improve their quality of life.
