Mali/Security: Acts of support for the FAMa, the malian people remain determined
In order to enable the Malian Armed Forces to successfully carry out their core mission of defending the country against terrorist groups and protecting the population and their property, many Malians have been expressing acts of support and encouragement. This is their way of contributing, they say, to the improvement of the conditions of their National Armed Forces.
This is the case, most recently, with the Malian diaspora in Germany, which did not want to remain on the sidelines of this remarkable fight against the enemies of the bush. They have also praised the commendable efforts of the country’s defense and security forces, as well as the determination of the country’s authorities in this fight to liberate Mali from the hands of its enemies.
For Malians residing in Germany, the authorities’ efforts to strengthen the capabilities of the Malian forces are more than welcome. To support this initiative of the Malian authorities, the diaspora in Germany raised a sum of two million four hundred thousand (2.400.000) CFA francs for the Malian Armed Forces.
They also promised to continue supporting the fight due to the sacrifices made by the soldiers on the ground in the face of the enemy. The military hierarchy, for its part, reassured the public of the Army’s determination to continue its mission of protecting Malians and their property both inside and outside the country. The unwavering support of the people is what the fighters need for a more effective struggle.
