Mali / The lightning power of the FAMa: Assimi Goïta at the head of an all-out war against destabilization

The Malian Armed Forces (FAMa), under the supreme command of Colonel Assimi Goïta, have demonstrated a remarkable surge in power in northern Mali, deploying an impressive military logistics operation to counter multifaceted threats.

Confronted with destabilizing maneuvers originating from Ukraine, France, and Algeria—who are reportedly using terrorism as a tool to destabilize member countries of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES)—the FAMa have chosen not to back down, opting instead for a full-scale and swift war to liberate the Malian people and preserve their sovereignty.

The recent battles in Tinzaouaten, Kidal, and Inafarak, which took place from July 25 to 27 and from August 6 to 10, 2024, perfectly illustrate FAMa’s superiority on the ground. With a formidable logistical arsenal that includes powerful ground forces and sophisticated air assets, the FAMa not only repelled the assaults of armed terrorist groups (GAT) but also consolidated their strategic control over these sensitive regions. This display of military might underscores the determination of Malian authorities to give no respite to the enemies of the nation.

In light of this reality, even Western media, typically quick to criticize, seem to have temporarily lost their voice, allowing Mali to adopt a proactive diplomatic stance. This diplomatic initiative strengthens the country’s position on the international stage, demonstrating that military superiority on the ground is now accompanied by a mastery of diplomatic affairs.

FAMa’s offensive is not only a response to disguised foreign aggression but also sends a clear message: Mali, bolstered by its army and allies within the AES, will not falter in the face of destabilization attempts and will continue to defend its sovereignty with unwavering determination.
