Manchester United: Jadon Sancho has alienated the entire dressing room

Jadon Sancho is getting everyone at Manchester United to agree… against him. After the staff, the dressing room is now fed up with the Englishman’s behaviour.

Jadon Sancho continues to eat his black bread. After being left out of Manchester United’s squad for last weekend’s 1-3 defeat at Arsenal by Erik ten Hag, the England international hit the headlines for publicly disputing the reasons given by his coach. Some of the club’s legends, such as Rio Ferdinand, were also quick to point the finger at the former Borussia Dortmund player’s behaviour.

The former defender had said that there were not many solutions to the problem «that of Saudi Arabia, where the mercato is still open. Or, you’re on the bench and you don’t get into the team for the rest of the season» The Saudi market has since closed its doors and Sancho is still at the club. Al-Ettifaq did try to sign him on loan at the last minute, but in the end the deal fell through.

The Englishman is going to have to deal with the situation, which is not exactly a source of delight in the dressing room, if the Daily Mail is to be believed. The British tabloid reports that Sancho’s behaviour, particularly during training sessions, is causing tension in a large part of the dressing room. His latest outburst on social media to express his anger at Erik t’en Hag has not helped matters either, quite the opposite in fact.

While he considers himself to be the ‘scapegoat’ in this affair, the 23-year-old winger has also alienated his team-mates. Some of them had already taken exception to his late arrivals at training. They also sided with their coach, whose pragmatism is appreciated. This was already the case a year ago when it came to dealing with Ronaldo. The Dutchman did not pull any punches either with Rashford, who was also late for a training session. Sancho knows what to expect if he does not change his ways…
