Miss Togo 2024: Nathalie Yao-Amuama, the new beauty queen
Candidate No. 27, Nathalie Yao-Amuama, was crowned Miss Togo 2024 during the Grand Finale of the celebration of Togolese beauty, held on the night of Saturday, December 2, at the Palais des Congrès in Lomé.
Nathalie Yao-Amuama emerged as Miss Togo 2024 after a colorful competition punctuated by performances from Togolese music artists.
To clinch the crown from Miss Togo 2023, Chimène Ekui Moladja, Nathalie Yao-Amuama, like the other 26 candidates, underwent various challenges, including traditional dances, evening gown and swimsuit parades, individual presentations, and the delicate question-and-answer session.
Following these challenges, the jury deliberated and selected her to become the new ambassador of Togolese beauty.
22-year-old Yao-Amuama Nathalie, standing at 1.77 meters and weighing 56 kilograms, holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and was crowned Miss Lomé Super Regional on August 26.
She was the first runner-up during the Grand Finale of The event, eventually convincing a jury that included Miss Togo 2018, Ichabatou Gnongbo Tchoro.
“I am very happy and moved. I thank everyone who supported me directly or indirectly. I will follow the same path as my predecessor because women are the future; they need support,” stated the new Miss Togo 2024, Yao-Amuama Nathalie.
Over the next twelve (12) months, she will fulfill her social mandate with the support of the official sponsor and the Miss Togo Election Committee.
Nathalie Yao-Amuama’s 1st runner-up is Prudence Angèle Eyou, and the 2nd runner-up is Sabine Enyonam Awity. The Miss receives a car worth 14 million with a driver and insurance, an envelope of 5 million FCFA, a phone with a communication credit of 1.4 million FCFA, trips to Africa and Europe, funding for her societal project, etc.
