Miss World D-1 : Is Clémence Botino, Miss France 2020, a favorite to win ?
The 71st Miss World pageant will be held on Saturday night in Mumbai, India. France will be represented by Clémence Botino. Arriving in India three weeks ago, Miss France 2020 has already undergone a series of challenges.
It’s the final stretch for the candidates competing in the Miss World 2023 pageant. The grand evening where the new beauty queen will be crowned is set to take place on Saturday, March 9th in Mumbai.
A total of 112 young women are competing this year to succeed the current titleholder, Karolina Bielawska from Poland, who holds the Miss World 2022 title. Among them is Clémence Botino, Miss France 2020.
It’s been three weeks since the French representative arrived in India. Between tourist excursions, Clémence Botino and her fellow contestants have taken part in various challenges to earn points and secure a spot in the Top 40.
While Miss France 2020 has stood out during certain moments, notably with her stunning national costume paying tribute to Marie-Antoinette, the outcome is still uncertain.
The most significant challenge of this competition, the “Beauty with a Purpose” segment, in which each candidate must promote the causes she wishes to support during her reign, already has its 10 finalists : Miss Indonesia, Miss Nepal, Miss Turkey, Miss Czech Republic, Miss Ukraine, Miss Botswana, Miss Uganda, Miss Tanzania, Miss Brazil, and Miss Trinidad and Tobago.
