Morocco: National Futsal team triumphs at Africa Cup of Nations 2024, royal congratulations

King Mohammed VI has sent warm congratulations to the national futsal team of Morocco following their brilliant victory at the 2024 Africa Futsal Cup of Nations, held in Rabat.

The sovereign expressed his great joy and pride for the team’s success, as they clinched the title for the third consecutive time, bringing honor to the national flag and the entire nation.

The royal message highlighted the exceptional determination and patriotism of the players who contributed to this remarkable victory, showcasing the strength and cohesion of the Moroccan team.

The competition benefited from exemplary organization and unparalleled hospitality in the Moroccan capital, further enhancing Morocco’s reputation as a welcoming and dynamic host country for international sports events.

His Majesty also praised the efforts of the technical and administrative staff of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, as well as the unwavering support of passionate fans, without whom this victory would not have been possible.

He expressed his prayers for future success, especially at the upcoming Futsal World Cup in Uzbekistan in 2024, where the national team will proudly represent the colors of Morocco.

The Moroccan team clinched the title with a resounding 5-1 victory over Angola in the final, held at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat, confirming their supremacy in continental futsal and inspiring a whole generation of young Moroccan athletes to strive for excellence on the international stage.
