Nice strike late to win 3-1 at Le Havre and climb back onto the podium

OGC Nice secured a crucial 3-1 victory at Le Havre on Matchday 22 of Ligue 1, climbing back onto the podium. The Aiglons took control of the match early against a Havre side fighting relegation.
In the 16th minute, Gaëtan Laborde opened the scoring for Nice, set up by his teammate Guessand. Just a minute later, Havre’s defender Youté scored an own goal, giving Nice a 2-0 lead. However, Le Havre responded in the 28th minute, with Kechta pulling one back for the hosts with a well-placed shot past Bulka.
After the break, the game became more fractured due to numerous fouls. Nice continued to dominate but had a goal from Guessand ruled out for offside (63rd minute). Despite efforts from Le Havre, including a header from Ahmed Hassan (69th) and a crucial save by Bulka from André Ayew’s header (85th), the match was decided in stoppage time. In the 90th +4 minute, Boga’s assist allowed Diop to finish from close range, sealing the win for Nice despite Bard’s red card in the 90th +1 minute.
This victory keeps Nice in the race for European spots, while Le Havre remains in a precarious position in the standings.
