Nigeria/Criminality: The Nigerian Army continues to lose men, the authorities questioned

In Nigeria, where all forms of criminality are rampant, the military is suffering considerable human losses. Last Friday, April 19th, six (06) more soldiers lost their lives in the central part of the country according to a statement dated Sunday, April 21st, 2024, from the Nigerian military hierarchy.

According to reports, it is in central Nigeria where the army has been fighting criminal gangs for decades that six soldiers were killed in an ambush. This includes two officers and four soldiers, as specified. The Nigerian army promises to avenge the death of its men.

It should be noted that the northwest and central Nigeria have been plagued for years by criminal gangs that attack, kill, and kidnap people, often for ransom. These acts create insecurity and sow panic among the population in these Nigerian regions.

Once again, the attention of the country’s authorities is called upon, and efforts are requested to maximize citizen protection and neutralize these criminals who are multiplying day by day.
